The food is very delicious, the motuleño-style eggs and the sauces to go with them as well, they have drink specials and the service from David was excellent and very attentive to every detail. Honestly, David's service was what made the place special.
El Muelle Restaurant was wonderful and the service from David was exceptional. He provided pool and restaurant service and was very attentive. Did not stay at the hotel as we stayed in an apartment within the hotel. Common area was clean and pool was amazing!
We found this hotel through TikTok; we were very attracted to its rooftop pool and lobster pizza. We enjoyed the place a lot; however, there was a lot of seaweed. The rooms are comfortable; we stayed in a suite and in a room with a sea view and jacuzzi. We have already booked to spend the December holidays there!
We loved the restaurant; the pizzas are delicious! The drinks are very good! The service was excellent; the waiter Hector was super friendly and attentive at all times. Highly recommended!
Aquastar is a hidden gem at the edge of Mexico. Outstanding service, beautiful rooms, and a great restaurant.
The outside area and pool of the Aquastar hotel was beautiful. We especially enjoyed the waterfront seats and hammocks. We found the rooms to be very plain and noisy. We could hear every sound from our neighbors across the hall. We also ended up with a double instead of the Queen room that we booked. That aside, we did enjoy our stay.
The best hotel to stay in Mahahual, we rented a two room with the kitchen and we really enjoyed.
We have very much enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Located on the beach with a great little pool we have been able to bask in the sunshine. Ramsy has been above and beyond for us. He has remembered our drinks and food orders, he has helped us navigate the area, and has given us to many tips to help us enjoy it all.
This hotel was an absolute blast! The views and indoor jacuzzi are a real experience!! Definitely worth every penny spent here. The hotel staff was super friend and attentive and the restaurant was amazing too! I can’t remember the name of the bartender that works nights but he was bringing my food straight to the jacuzzi, I didn’t even have to go to the door. That is a excellent service there!!! The food was AMAZING!! Very fresh and well cooked. I have to say that this place surpassed my expectations!! 100% recommend!!
We stayed 2 nights here in this isolated beach town. Cruise ships come to dock and the clientele can be annoying but they don't stay long before they are herded back on their ship and moved on. The staff here were super friendly and accommodating doing everything to make sure we were comfortable. Manuel who works the front desk was especially excellent and made sure our stay here was top notch. Even the maintenance man was helpful and friendly! This town of mahahual is mostly local tourists aside from the cruise boats so expect to be emersed in Mexican vacation culture. The ocean suffers from that brown sea weed that seems to be plaguing the Caribbean the past few years and here in mahahual they are trying their best to keep it at bay with barriers about 100 metres out. We recommend this hotel .. restaurant food is good, pool is nice and the room was very comfortable and luxurious.

Brilliant location and staff, hotel is well kept. We had a great view of the ocean from our room balcony. The room was very spacious, with a large bed and space for luggage. The room was cosy but modern.
